Great reminder recently that mental illness has so many more faces than just what gets inherited for families to enjoy for generations.  Sometimes it comes in the deluxe package of traumatic brain injury; physical condition and medical trauma with a triple shot of devastating mental health problems.  An instant and permanent life change.  I say "great reminder"  because I saw it in the context of fantastic wholistic care by people who are making a difference in the lives of those who are surviving and thriving.
